Covid Practices & Protocols

Training is currently taking place.  We recognize the unique challenges that COVID-19 creates for any business that relies on performance and gathering community. We have spent time planning new approaches to sharing our work and our commitment to social advocacy and community building. Like most performing arts organizations, we recognize the need for human face to face interaction.

Our team continues to monitor the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and National Institutes of Health (NIH) website for updates, to ensure that our practices accurately reflect their recommendations.

What can you do to help stop the spread?

We encourage you to take the following steps to ensure the health of our community! As per the CDC guidelines, the most powerful defenses against this disease are to:

  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.

  • If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol. Always wash hands with soap and water if hands are visibly dirty.

  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.

  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.

  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.

  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.

  • If you feel sick, stay home.

If you have fever, cough and/or shortness of breath, and recently traveled to an area with ongoing spread of coronavirus, or have been in close contact with someone who has recently traveled to any of those areas, please do not come to class; go to your doctor.
